Skagit Horticulture is a diversified producer of crops sold to Home Stores, Independent Garden Centers, Wholesale Greenhouse Growers, and Specialty Ag throughout the Northwest. The company maintains extensive production facilities in Mount Vernon and Mabton, WA, as well as in Watsonville, CA.  Skagit Horticulture is affiliated with Precept Wines, a leading producer of grapes and wine, distributed by retailers nation-wide. The company is expanding production of virus and other disease free, clean stock transplants of the newest varieties of hops, grapes and other genetics.


  • Work to establish Skagit Horticulture as an innovative leader in the rapidly developing differentiated production of new genetics, clean stock and other types of production that allows growers to build market share
  • Working with Skagit Horticulture leadership and staff, develop strong capabilities around new, clean stock production of hops, grapes, fruit and nut trees, both in the greenhouse and open field
  • Help to fully utilize capabilities of the Mabton location, as well as Mount Vernon and Watsonville

Wine Technology Instructor - South Seattle College

This is a full-time, tenure track, faculty position at South Seattle College. The primary instructional assignment will be to teach a diverse range of Wine courses at South Seattle College, focusing on wine production. Seattle Colleges are committed to recruiting dedicated faculty and staff who together create a welcoming academic climate that reflects the diverse backgrounds of our community, including ethnicity, national origin, religion, race, gender, gender identity, age, status as a veteran or disabled veteran, disability, political status, and sexual orientation.


  • Develop and teach a diverse range of wine production courses in wine making, analysis, viticulture and general knowledge of the wine industry and compliance.
  • May be assigned to teach additional wine courses depending upon the instructor's background experience.
  • Class assignments may include day, evening, online, and Saturday classes.
  • Collaborate with other faculty in planning and developing curriculum and schedules within the context of division goals.
  • Other duties include student conferences, course and curriculum development, participation in division activities and other professional responsibilities as specified in the current Seattle College Federation of Teachers Agreement.
  • Work collaboratively across the district and lead (if directed) projects and initiatives in support of student success.

Candidates should be willing to teach in a variety of formats such as in-class, hybrid, online and varied class times including days, evenings, and weekends according to program needs.

Grape Sales Manager - Aquilini

Aquilini Vineyards owns 1,500 acres of prime vineyard in Washington State, planted exclusively to vitis vinifera grapes. Enlisting renowned consultants, each parcel was precision planned to provide optimum conditions to deliver superior quality fruit. 

The Grape Sales Manager’s primary responsibility is to prospect, qualify, meet and close the sale of grapes from our estate vineyards. Additionally, the Grape Sales Manager liaises with vineyard production manager to ensure premium quality grapes are produced and established yield targets are achieved. Helping develop corporate policy and procedure, as well as providing input on design and implementation of company’s business processes will be essential to candidate’s success. Providing market intel to assist Senior Management in making key/effective decisions related to existing vineyards/customers is another key duty of role.


  • Establish, develop and maintain key relationships with winemakers, wineries, brand owners, distributors 
  • Manage all forms of correspondence with customers and maintain well
    organized filing system
